The Real RVL Reveal

Welcome to my new weight-loss blog! I have started a new product called RVL (pronounced: Reveal). It has more nutritional value per calorie than ANY other weight-loss product on the market. I am starting this blog, to keep tabs on myself, and to keep anyone interested informed. Keep checking back regularly (FOLLOW ME) for updates. If you are just joining in... scroll down to the bottom to start at the beginning of my journey.

Clarifying "Cheats" aka: BOOZE

If any of my friends are reading the last post, I can already hear: "No cheating? Didn't I see you with a glass of wine at the Christmas party?" or "Um, Friday Night Date Nights? Hello? Is THAT not a cheat?" Okay... For the record I DO imbibe on Friday (and Saturday) nights. It's what we do. 23+ years of marriage: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. My drink of choice is Vodka Soda. Probably the least amount of calories/sugar/chemicals per drink than any other combination. We don't drink mid-week... (okay, there are a few exceptions, but they are rare.)

As far as the glass of wine (or two)... I have already been to two Christmas Parties: Yes, I drank. I have three more during my time on RVL. Yes, I will drink... It won't be rum and eggnog. It won't be beer. It'll be the best caloric choice available... much like the food offered. Pick your poisons. PLUS my 45th birthday is coming up during my RVL time as well... You can bet I will be somewhat in my cups THAT night! LOL

I have also been working out again, during the week, 2-3 times. However, with the current diet, I find my body tired and achy and I keep making excuses to skip the treadmill. I am hoping the extra energy Bekki keeps talking about with her RVL experience will happen to me as well.

December is truly the WORST time (for me) to start a diet: So many temptations. I am determined to make it the BEST time with RVL. I may not hit my TOPS goal by my birthday, but it would be cool to be 145 at 45! That would be (officially) 10.5lbs loss by December 22nd.

Tomorrow is the big day! I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I'll keep ya posted.
