I knew it was going to be a rough haul! The bad news? Even without stepping on the scale, I KNOW I am up. The good news? I haven't reverted back to my 13-14 jeans! Still in the 12's and they are fitting comfortably. So while I have gained weight, it's obviously put it somewhere else! LOL.
One main issue with the Holidays have been my S-I-L's amazing baking: she has made us cookies, birthday cake, brownies with real whipped cream on Christmas Eve, chocolate soufflé for Christmas day, and white chocolate cheese cake for boxing day... And the worst of worst (translation: best of best!) an amazing Gingerbread House! Santa gets the first piece, but after that it's free-for-all. Last night, hubby finally took all the remnants and chucked them. Funny, I wasn't tempted by all the sweets and goodies the children received. That wasn't mine. Like the cookie dough that is a staple in our fridge. It doesn't bother me at all... It isn't mine.
My second issue with the Holidays was plain and simply my own darn fault! Moving. Or lack there-of: I was a SLUG. I got on my treadmill only once, and never once wore my leg/arm weights. I had far too many 'glasses of cheer' (although, I never did touch the eggnog and rum!

Time to pay the piper, though. You play, you pay.
January 2nd I am having a 'tasting' at 1:00. If you are interested in coming by to sample the yummy shakes and bars, I would love to see you! If you want to take the plunge with me, I would LOVE an RVL 'buddy' or two to compete with! Nothing like friendly competition to get one motivated!
I have sent out a few invitations to those who expressed an interest, but of course, anyone is welcome. I will also be sending out samples to my out-of-town friends who are interested. Call or e-mail me if you want to try some!
